Atlanta Falcons (14-3 SU, 9-7-1 ATS, 6-11 O/U)
The Falcons are coming off one off an ‘Instant Classic’ kind of win in beating Seattle 30-28 in one of the most exciting NFC Divisional showdowns in recent memory.

Atlanta avoided the dreaded ‘one-and-done’ label that has been followed them the last few seasons and have won three of their last four games dating back to Week 15 of the regular season. The Falcons have scored at least 30 points in three of their last four games while going 6-2-2 ATS over their last 10 games following an ATS loss.

Atlanta has one of the game’s most explosive offenses as they finished sixth in passing (281.8 ypg) and seventh in scoring (26.2 ppg). The Falcons also ranked a surprising fifth in points allowed defensively (18.7 ppg). The Falcons have gone 8-1 SU in nine home games this season but are just a mediocre 4-5 ATS in the comforts of their own backyard. The Falcons are just 1-4 ATS in their last five home playoff games and a miserable 0-5 ATS in their last five playoff games overall.

San Francisco 49ers (12-4 SU, 10-7 ATS, 10-6-1 O/U)
The San Francisco 49ers have won two straight games going back to the final week of the 2012 NFL regular season, Frisco has actually reeled off six wins in their last eight games overall while cashing in for pro football gamblers in each contest.

Second-year quarterback Colin Kaepernick set an NFL postseason record with 181 rushing yards in the Niners’ 45-31 NFC Divisional win over Green Bay last weekend. Kaepernick rushed for two scores while throwing for an additional 263 yards with two TD passes.

San Francisco snapped a modest two-game ATS skid by covering the NFL betting spread against Green Bay as a 3-point home favorite to improve to a respectable 5-3 ATS over their last eight games. Led by their quickly-blossoming signal-caller, the Niners have scored at least 27 points in four of their last five games while scoring at least 40 points in two of those contests.

San Francisco has gone 5-3 SU and ATS in eight road games this season. The Niners were very solid on offense this season as they ranked fourth in rushing (155.6 ypg) and 11th in scoring (24.8 ppg). Defensively, the Niners’ were one of the league’s very best teams as they rank third overall and fourth against the pass and run. Better yet, the San Francisco ranks second in points allowed (17.1 ppg). San Francisco has gone 4-1 ATS in their last five road games against a team with a winning home record and a concrete 5-2 ATS in their last seven games in the month of January.
