To me this should be an interesting game that goes back and forth and for that very reason I can’t make a large play on it. I really feel that Ohio has more balance and they also are use to the style of offense that Utah State brings into the building which is spread it out and run the ball. Utah State has been impressive running this season 6th in the nation. However, Ohio has been equally as good at stopping the run allowing 3.69 yards per carry as they held Northern Illinois to 4.31 in the MAC Championship. This team is hungry for a post season win and although they collapsed in the MAC championship I don’t see it carrying over. I expect the balanced offense to win the battle here. The difference in my opinion though Ohio in the red zone has 19 more attempts and they’ve allowed 7 less attempts. I think Ohio has success putting it into the end zone instead of settling for TD’s look for Lavon Brazill to be player of the game here. Ohio is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 as under dogs and this line may move to them being favorites by the time it’s all said and done. -Freddy Wills (Touthouse.com)

Pick: Washington -7.5
Washington is primed for a dominant performance tonight at home against Cal Santa Barbara. The Huskies are a much better team than their 4-4 record would indicate, but they have simply fell victim to a very tough schedule in the early going. Washington’s four losses this season have come against Duke, Marquette, Saint Louis and Nevada. Those four teams have a combined 34-5 record on the season. They have lost three straight by a combined 11 points, all on the road or on a neutral court. After playing both Marquette and Duke in their last two games, the Huskies will be battle-tested and ready to take on a much lesser opponent tonight. Santa Barbara has played a very favorable schedule. They have played six home games compared to just one road game, which resulted in a narrow 65-61 win at San Diego as a 10-point favorite. This is by far their toughest test of the season, and I don’t see them being able to stay within double-digits of the Huskies Friday. Washington is 7-0 ATS in their last 7 home games after 2 consecutive non-conference games. The Huskies are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 December games. Santa Barbara is 1-9 ATS in their last 10 after having won 4 or 5 of their last 6 games. Santa Barbara is 10-27 ATS in their last 37 versus up-tempo teams averaging 62 or more shots/game. The Gauchos are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog. Bet Washington Friday.

Pick: Utah +2.5
The Utes have lost 8 in a row since winning their opener, but they have an excellent opportunity to end their skid this evening. Utah plays a half-court style that has given the Bengals fits. Consider that Idaho State is 0-7 ATS in its last 7 games versus slow-down teams that average 53 or less shots per game. The Bengals are losing to these teams by an average score of 68 to 53. Utah won the most recent meeting with Idaho State 68-56 at home 2 years ago. The Utes have won 4 straight at home in this series with each win coming by 6 points or more. The Bengals haven’t shown they can be trusted laying even a small number. They are 12-27-1 ATS in their last 40 games as a favorite of 6.5 or less and 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a road favorite of 6.5 or fewer. The Utes, meanwhile, are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games as a home underdog of 6.5 points or less. We’ll bet the Utes. -Jimmy Boyd. Week 15 NFL Pick: Seattle Seahawks +3.5
The Seattle Seahawks (6-7 SU, 8-4-1 ATS) are feeling good as they come into this contest riding a two-game SU and ATS winning streak in which they scored at least 31 points each time out. Seattle has actually won four of its last five games overall, including its emphatic 30-13 rout of St. Louis on Monday night to cash in as a 9-point home favorite. The Chicago Bears (7-6 SU, 7-6 ATS) have lost three straight, including their 13-10 road loss to Tim Tebow and the Broncos as a 3-point road underdog.
Analysis: I’ll get right to the point with this Week 15 pick by saying that I really like the way the Seattle Seahawks are playing right now and I believe they will find a way to not only get the ATS cover in this contest, but push Chicago for the outright win. He Bears haven’t scored more than 20 points since losing starting quarterback Jay Cutler while not toping 13 points in each of their last two games. All of a sudden, the Seattle Seahawks are looking good, thanks mostly to Marshawn ‘The Beast’ Lynch and some surprisingly steady play from often inconsistent quarterback Tavaris Jackson. With the Seahawks beating Baltimore and Philadelphia to get two of their last four wins, I say they take another one against a good team by beating the Bears outright. Seattle is 4-0 ATS in their last four games as an underdog and 7-1 ATS in their last eight games against its NFC conference rivals. Chicago is 4-10 ATS in their L/14 games as a home favorite between 3.5 and 10 points.

week 15 NFL Pick: Arizona Cardinals -7
The Cleveland Browns (4-9 SU, 4-7-2 ATS) have lost three straight games while the red-hot Arizona Cardinals (6-7 SU, 8-5 ATS) have won three consecutive games and five of its last half-dozen games overall. The Browns looked as clueless as ever in their 14-3 Week 14 road loss to Pittsburgh, though they did manage to cash in against the NFL betting line as a 14-point road underdog. Arizona got the biggest win of Week 14 by beating the San Francisco 49ers 21-19 to cash in as a 3.5-point home underdog and move to 5-1 ATS over their L/6 games.
Analysis: This pick is as simple as pie Touthouse NFL betting buffs with the Cardinals looking to keep their winning ways and extremely faint playoff hopes alive for another week – and Cleveland looking to just get to the end of the regular season before heading into the offseason to formulate another ‘rebuilding plan’. The Browns are 2-8 ATS in their L/10 games as an underdog while Arizona has gone 6-2 ATS in their L/8 home games while also going 6-1 ATS in their L/7 games overall. Dallas Stars vs. New York Islanders
NHL Pick: Dallas Stars -102 odds (December 15th 2011)
CLICK HERE FOR TODAY’S EXPERT NHL PICKS
This is the fourth game of a five-game roadtrip for Dallas and a win ensures a winning trek and it looks to avenge a loss to the Islanders from 12 days ago. The Stars have taken the last two games as they have allowed just one goal combined against the Kings and Rangers and that can be attributed to recalled goalie Richard Bachman who was brought up following an injury to Kari Lehtonen. Bachman has played in the last three games, including starting the last two, and stopped 71 of 72 shots on goal.
The Islanders have lost three straight games, the most recent taking place in Montreal on Tuesday, but a return home may not be the cure to their ills. After starting the season 3-1 on the island, New York is just 3-6-3 in its last 12 home games, including losses in five of its last six. The Islanders have dropped every game this season that has gone past regulation, losing four times and twice by way of shootout. New York is tied with Los Angeles for the fewest goals in the league with 65.
While they can’t score, the defense has been an issue for the Islanders as well. They are ranked 27th in goals-against average at 3.25 per game and while goalie Al Montoya has been decent most of the season, he has allowed 10 goals over his last two starts. He will likely sit tonight though but that does not give New York as edge as Evgeni Nabokov is just 1-5 in eight games played with a 2.83 GAA. Dallas has been inconsistent on the offensive end but this could be the much needed breakout game.
As mentioned, this is a revenge game. The Stars allowed five goals in that loss to New York and that matched a season high for goals for New York. The Islanders are 9-26 in their last 35 games coming off a road loss including going 3-14 in 17 games coming off a road loss by two or more goals. Dallas meanwhile is 21-8 in its last 29 games after allowing one goal or less in its last game. The Stars are 8-2-1 at New York since the start of the 1996-97 season. 3* (51) Dallas Stars.
