Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox
Prediction: Detroit Tigers -126 odds (May 14th 2012)

MLB Free Play for Doc’s Sports: Monday May 14th 2012- Take #977 Detroit over Chicago White Sox (8:10pm est): Detroit Tigers rookie starter Drew Smyly has taken the American League by storm to begin his career with now six straight quality starts and having not allowed more than two runs in any one of those first six games. Just as impressive as that is who Smyly has done this against also including a six inning, seven strikeout, no walk performance against these very same Chicago White Sox’s just ten days ago.

Speaking of Chicago, they have really struggled against left-handers all season, ranking near the bottom of the league with just a .193 batting average against them. They come into this game having only scored one run in their last two contests overall. They hand the ball to left-hander John Danks here in this one. Danks has really struggled to begin this season with ERA just below 6.00 for the year. Don’t be fooled by his last start either as Danks only struck out just one guy and walked three overall in the game.

No reason to treat Smyly as anything less than a very good starter right now. Getting him at this price against one of the worst offense’s in all of baseball versus lefties and going up against a guy pitching as poorly as Danks has been this season, is great value here. Take Detroit here in this one. Courtesy of Doc’s Sports

NHL THURSDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN ~ +$13,000 (2013) Hockey Profits
They call him "THE ICE MAN", but after racking up +$17,000 in profits with the NHL's regular season, he had gone cold in the playoffs. He threw down the guantlet on Tuesday stating: "I'm cashing in this TEN STAR TOTAL.. or my name isn't "THE ICE MAN"

Sure enough, Jesse won with the UNDER in BOS@NYR, and then followed that up with another winner on the Penguins Wednesday night.

Consider this a WARNING: "THE ICE MAN IS BACK!"
