Let’s be honest for a minute college football betting enthusiasts. The Mississippi Rebels (2-8 SU, 3-7 ATS) are not going to beat the top-ranked LSU Tigers (10-0 SU, 7-3 ATS) in this Week 12 SEC matchup, making the only question surrounding this contest is whether or not the Tigers are going to cover the spread as an insanely high29-point road favorite. LSU toyed with Western Kentucky in its 42-9 Week 11 win, but failed to cover the spread as a mind-numbing 41.5-point home favorite to snap its four-game ATS winning streak. Mississippi was on the wrong end of a 27-7 loss against Louisiana Tech while failing to cover the NCAAF betting line as a 1-point home underdog to fall to 0-3 ATS over its last three games and 1-4 ATS over its L/5 games overall.
Analysis: The Road team in this series is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings, but the Underdog has gone an even more impressive 10-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings. Cementing this pick for the Underdog Rebels is the fact that Mississippi has gone 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall. They’re not going to win at all, but I like Mississippi and the huge point total.
