Take #958 New York Mets over Arizona (7:10pm est) Always a tough spot for a team to go into their third different city in three straight series but that is the task at hand for the Arizona Diamondbacks here in this one tonight. Arizona plays their eight game in eight days and do so while in their third location tonight in New York. They hand the ball to youngster Wade Miley in this one as Miley pitched very well in April for the D-backs, winning the N.L rookie pitcher of the month. Going to be a tough act for him to follow here in May as Miley caught some nice breaks in the scheduling end of things with most of his opponents being teams who really struggle versus left-handers.

The Mets have had a real up and down start to their 2012 season so far as they come in on a three game losing streak after getting swept on the road to what many feel is the worst team in baseball, the Houston Astros. This is not a happy group returning home and go with a guy who has shown big time improvement so far this season in Dillon Gee. Unlike Miley, Gee has pitched in some tough spots to start the season by going into Colorado and also facing a Giants and Braves team that both beat up on right-hand pitchers.

New York needs this one and should be able to beat what should be a tired Diamondbacks squad who is led by a rookie starter in this one tonight. Play the New York Mets here.
