MLB Picks: New York Yankees vs. Chicago White Sox Odds: August 4th 2011
The New York Yankees look for the road sweep and their seventh win in a row as they play there last game before their weekend showdown with the first place Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Eric Chavez and Robinson Cano both homered while Derek Jeter had five hits, Curtis Granderson had four hits, and Brett Gardener, Cano, and Chavez all had three hits as part of the 22 hit 18 run bombardment by the Yankees hitters. For game four on Chicago’s South Side New York starts Ivan Nova who makes his second start since returning to the rotation though he has won his last five decisions. For the season Nova has allowed 104 hits and 44 earned runs while striking out 57 over 98.2 innings of work.
