Cleveland opens their exhibition season by hosting the Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers, who will receive their rings the day before this game and will want to cap the weekend ceremony off with a victory. Cleveland will be playing their first game behind Head Coach Pat Shurmur, who will be installing the west cost offense and switching from the 3-4 to 4-3 defense.
