Detroit Tigers vs. Texas Rangers: MLB Picks for June 7th 2011

Detroit Tigers vs. Texas Rangers
MLB Pick: Over 9.5 (June 7th 2011)

I had Texas last night as a loser on my premium play as they allowed 13 runs (wtf was that?), numerous hits, and there were 6 home runs in last nights shootout between these two which scored 20 runs. I expect more fireworlks tonight in the 100 degree heat in Arlington as the ball will carry as usual.

These two teams in the last 8 games have went OVER the total 6 times with 2 pushes and no Unders, and while Porcello takes the hill for Detroit with an ERA of under 4 on the season, Texas in the last 5 games has hit right handers at a whopping .336 as a team and will have some revenge in mind while at the plate after getting lit up like a Christmas tree at home by the Tigers last night.

Harrison for Texas toes the rubber in this game, a southpaw, but off multiple injuries, he is not close to 100% in my opinion and Detroit as well should get plenty of hitters on base since in the last 5 games the Tigers have torched lefties at .325 as a team and Texas and their bullpen is not top shelf right now either. The Over is 12-3-4 in the last 19 games these two have locked horns. -Tony George (

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Kansas City Royals: MLB Picks for June 6th 2011

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Kansas City Royals
MLB Pick: Toronto Blue Jays -124 (June 6th 2011)

The Toronto Blue Jays get the call Monday as a small road favorite over the reeling Kansas City Royals. The Blue Jays are 15-15 on the road, but have won seven of 10 as the visitor while hitting .290 with 12 homers. The Royals were outscored 26-6 while getting swept in four games by the Minnesota Twins in their last series. Kansas City is a woeful 5-17 in their last 22 games overall after a fast start to the season. Toronto starter Brandon Morrow is 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA and 1.327 WHIP in three road starts this season, and the Blue Jays have won all three contests. K.C. starter Felipe Paulino is 2-13 (-10.6 Units) against the money line as an underdog of +100 to +150 over the last 3 seasons. The Blue Jays are 20-6 in their last 26 during game 1 of a series. The Royals are 1-10 in their last 11 after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game. Kansas City is 4-18 in their last 22 after allowing 5 runs or more in their previous game. Take the Blue Jays on the Money Line. -Black Widow (
