Week 4 NFL Pick: Lundin betting the Steelers -2.5 over the Ravens on October 1st 2017

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens
Week 4 NFL Pick: Steelers -2.5 points (October 1st 2017)

The Baltimore Ravens forgot to bring their offense when they traveled to London, England to face the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday. Actually, they forgot to bring their defense as well and had to head back home a 44-7 loser after being outgained by 410 yards to 186. The Ravens can’t possibly be as bad here the following week, but last week’s transatlantic travel won’t help and I don’t think they’ll be able to keep up with their AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Pittsburgh must be extremely disappointed with last week’s performance as well after falling 23-17 in overtime to the Bears in Chicago as a 7-point favorite. The Steelers are 2-1 on the season despite RB Le’Veon Bell being off to a slow start, and QB Big Ben Roethlisberger has yet to show his best stuff as well. It’s only a matter of time before they heat up though, and the Steelers have too many weapons for the Ravens to shut down.

Baltimore is dead last in the NFL in total offense, and Quarterback Joe Flacco is averaging just 5.3 yards per attempt through the first three contests and he completed only eight of 18 pass attempts for a career-worst 28 yards with two interceptions against the Jaguars. Pittsburgh is ranked third in the league in total defense and second against the pass, so I predict another tough game for Flacco. The Bears hurt Pittsburgh on the ground last week, but Baltimore has a much weaker running game than Chicago.

My free pick is on Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bengals vs. Browns Week 4 Point Spread Pick from Doc’s Sports: October 1st 2017

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns
Week 4 NFL Pick: Browns +3.5 points (October 1st 2017)

Doc’s Sports Free Play. #264 Take Cleveland Browns over Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday 1 pm CBS) The Browns were a rare road favorite last week in Indianapolis and they proved they were not up to the challenge getting down big earlier before making a late rally for the final score to look a little respectable. Now they are back as an underdog against a divisional opponent playing their second straight road game.

Cincinnati played well last week at Green Bay but could not close out the game and they sit at a similar 0-3 record. Just feel this is the game Cleveland will put forth a great effort and get a game at home. Cleveland is 9-2 in their last 11 games played during week 4 of the regular season. Do not miss out on Doc’s Sports weekend football card. We have nailed our top play in both college and NFL two straight weeks. Sign-up now and let 46 years of handicapping experience work for you.

Packers vs. 49ers Week 4 NFL Prediction from Steve Rosen: October 4th 2015

GREEN BAY VS. SAN FRANCISCO WEEK 4Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers
Week 4 NFL Prediction: Green Bay -7 (October 4th 2015)
CLICK HERE FOR STEVE ROSEN’S EXPERT NFL PICKS

After seeing their defense ripped to shreds in each of the last two games, the San Francisco 49ers face the unenviable task of attempting to slow down Aaron Rodgers and the visiting Green Bay Packers on Sunday.??Rodgers has completed 73.6 percent of his throws through three games, significantly better than his career-best mark of 68.3 in 2011. The two-time NFL MVP has thrown a league-high 10 touchdowns and has yet to toss an interception , with the latter being an all-too-frequent occurrence for Colin Kaepernick. The San Francisco quarterback was picked off four times last week, the first two were returned for touchdowns in a 47-7 shellacking by Arizona. James Jones hasn’t missed a beat since returning to Green Bay, tying Cobb for the team lead with four touchdown receptions, one shy of Arizona’s Larry Fitzgerald for the league lead. With Kaepernick struggling, San Francisco needs to receive a jolt from its ground game in order to ignite an offense that is averaging a league-low 15 points per contest. Carlos Hyde set the NFL on its ear with a 168-yard, two-touchdown performance in the season opener, but has been limited to just 94 yards on 28 carries in a pair of blowout losses to Pittsburgh and Arizona.San Francisco’s minus-4 turnover differential is the third-worst in the league. The 49ers have permitted 15 pass plays of 20 or more yards, which is tied with Oakland for the most in the NFL. This game is going to be won by Green Bay by double digits!
