After a five-game winning streak, the Braves have dropped their last two games but are in good position to get back on track tonight. Tim Hudson is in the midst of his best stretch of the season as he has tossed 10 straight quality outings, going 7-1 with a 2.07 ERA over that stretch. He has made only one truly bad start where he allowed eight runs in 3.2 innings at the Angels. Take that out and his ERA drops from 3.18 down to 2.78. He has a 2.71 ERA at home with 11 of his 14 starts at Turner Field resulting in quality outings.

Madison Bumgarner has been having a solid season with the Giants as well as he has posted a 3.53 ERA in 24 starts. San Francisco is just 11-13 in those games however as he has received a mere 3.04 rpg of support. He is coming off two straight quality starts but both were at home and his last game was one of his best which gives us a powerful contrarian opportunity. He has faced the Braves once already this season and it was not a good result as he allowed four runs, three earned, in just 2.2 innings. 3* (904) Atlanta Braves

Backing A.J. Burnett on the road has been a losing proposition for quite some time now. The Yankees are 4-11 in his last 15 road starts and of his eight road starts this season, only two have been quality outings. Overall, he has gone five starts without a quality outing as well as seven of his last eight and while they have not been blowups, the potential is there. Especially here. Burnett has an 8.14 ERA in four lifetime starts as U.S. Cellular Field and since coming to the Yankees he has a 16.88 ERA in two starts there.

Chicago goes with Gavin Floyd who is having a pretty solid season with a 3.96 ERA. He has pitched better on the road than at home but his recent form makes up for that as he is 3-0 with a 0.81 ERA and 0.72 WHIP over his last three starts. Facing the Yankees is no problem either as he has tossed four straight quality starts against New York, posting a 2.18 ERA in the process. The White Sox are 8-1 in his last nine starts as a home underdog and 4-1 in his last five starts against teams with a winning record. 3* (928) Chicago White Sox
